 Capt. Sam Ostrowski has joined the Working Girl Charters and Chesapeake Bay Outfitters family. Capt. Sam will be running some of the trips helping out with the increase in number of charters and adding to our already great success.
Sam has great local knowledge of the Upper Bay where he grew up on the water as well as the middle Bay where we operate. Captain Sam is also an accomplished waterfowl guide and will be working with us on our Guided Waterfowl hunts as well. We’re happy to have Sam on board !
 We are hard at work here at Working Girl Charters preparing the boat , rods, reels and tackle for another exciting year of Chesapeake Bay Sportfishing.
With the hot and cold weather we’ve had, Trophy Rockfish are already moving into the Chesapeake Bay preparing to spawn. 85% of the Atlantic stock of Striped Bass spawn right here in the middle Chesapeake, right here where we operate.
Don’t hesitate on booking your dates early. Large numbers of above average Stripers have been reported by biologists to be heading our way.
April 17th marks the opening of this year’s Rockfish Season. Capt. Matt will be ready and waiting for you aboard the Working Girl.
